When I was 10, I applied to art school on my mum's laptop. 10 years later, I graduated with an MA in Fine Art, Theory and Art History in bonny Scotland.
Since then, I've been soaking up 25 years of vitamin D deficiency while figuring out what gives me that creative feeling I know and crave—the spark of a good idea and the spiral that turns it into a great one. Somewhere between creative work at Studio A, RPA, the Royal Scottish Academy and Award School, I found it: copywriting.
I'm currently working with the three Ds—death, divorce and downsizin at an auction house, but I've always kept Thursdays free for creating. Now I'm looking to think creatively Monday to Friday.
P.S. Although I'm an English girl, I have the golden ticket of an NZ passport and full working rights.

‘‘Margaux has a great creative instinct. Any creative department would be lucky to have her. Even if she’s already got a brilliant insight or idea, she keeps interrogating it until it’s bulletproof. She takes feedback really well, asks the right questions, and brings great energy. She has a particular knack for copy, understanding what makes a great headline or brand line. Tutoring Margaux through Award School showed her incredible work ethic, and she’s produced some amazing work as a result.’’
